THE PRINCIPALS OF PLAZA DEVELOPMENT PARTNERS share a keen sense of corporate responsibility to the community, and over the years have contributed to scores of local organizations. Through their individual work on various boards of directors and in other community activities, they have stayed aware of and responsive to a number of charitable groups, ranging from those that focus on nature such as the Friends of the Santa Clara River, the Nature Conservancy and the Ojai Valley Land Conservancy, to those aimed at education and youth Boys and Girls Club of Oxnard and Port Hueneme, Girl Scouts, Ventura Council of Boy Scouts, LULAC Youth Conference, Westside Children’s Center and the Oxnard Elementary and High School District Education Foundation, among others.
Their charitable interests also include arts and civic services such as the Carnegie Art Museum, Elite Theater Company, Gull Wings Children’s Museum, Teatro de las Americas, Habitat for Humanity of Ventura County and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. The principals back up their belief in strong local police and fire services with contributions to charities such as the Oxnard Police and Fireman’s Ball, the Oxnard Police Foundation and the Oxnard Police Officers Memorial Fund.
In addition, PDP has made a major contribution to the Endowment Fund of the Ventura County Community Foundation to insure continued financial stability of Ventura County Charities for generations to come.
