Pacific West Appraisal Group is a full-service appraisal firm with the ability to handle various types of commercial and residential income property. The firm specializes in multi-family apartment and commercial properties in Los Angeles and Ventura counties, but staff has the experience and ability to appraise throughout the state. The principals each bring more than 20 years of appraisal experience to the team. Pacific West Appraisal Group does 150-200 commercial appraisals a year, with a total annual property value ranging from $225 million-$400 million.

PRINCIPALS
WILLIAM H. PELTOLA, Jr., MAI
Bill Peltola is a Member of the Appraisal Institute, earning the prestigious MAI designation in 1996. This designation has long been recognized by courts of law, governmental agencies, financial institutions and investors as a mark of excellence in the field of real estate valuation and analysis. He earned his B.S. degree in business administration with an emphasis in real estate from the University of Southern California in 1983. He has been a residential and commercial real estate appraiser for Glendale Federal Bank and Home Savings of America, where he appraised existing and proposed apartments, office, retail and industrial properties, proposed single-family and condominium tracts, mobile home parks, self-storage facilities and vacant land. His geographical experience includes appraisals in California, Texas, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico. He has also reviewed and trained staff appraisers and reviewed contract fee appraisals. He lives in Thousand Oaks with his wife, Cindy, and three daughters. Peltola is a former All Pacific Ten Conference baseball player at USC and played professionally for three seasons in the New York Yankee organization. He is an avid five handicap golfer and co-captain of his clubs golf team. In his spare time he enjoys swimming, camping and travel, as well as supporting his daughters activities, which include horse shows, cheerleading, volleyball, dance and karate.
TIMOTHY D. WHITE
Tim White was born and raised in Southern California, and earned his B.S. in business administration with an emphasis on real estate and finance from San Diego State University in 1983. Before teaming with Bill Peltola to form Pacific West Appraisal Group, White was a staff commercial appraiser for Glendale Federal Bank, where he appraised proposed and existing multi-family units, vacant residential and commercial land and lots, retail, industrial, office, mixed-use projects, proposed single-family and condominium tracts and land leaseholds. He was a real estate analyst for Ag Land Services, where he analyzed project feasibility and devised marketing strategies, performed market analysis, cash flow projections and property management. He was both a single-family appraiser and a senior staff residential income appraiser for Home Savings of America. He is licensed with the California Office of Real Estate Appraisers as a General Certified Appraiser, and with the California Department of Real Estate as a licensed real estate broker. He lives in Camarillo with his wife, Melanie, and two sons. In his leisure time he likes to go on family camping trips, hike, bike ride and play basketball, football or Frisbee with his boys and the neighborhood kids. He’s a devotee of Laker games and Monday Night football.
